the Connect Care Management Team
Annette Fryman,
RN, MBA

Annette
Fryman is a registered nurse with a bachelor's degree in Nursing
and a Masters in Business Administration. Ms. Fryman spent the first
ten years of her career as a hospital based psychiatric nurse, providing
direct services to children, adolescents and adults. Since 1981,
she has had a variety of management roles including Behavioral Health/Clinical
Director of three hospitals; CEO of a provider owned managed behavioral
health care organization and now Executive Director of Connect Care.
Ms. Fryman has extensive experience in the management of care delivery
systems, program development, and marketing.
She
was a founding board member of the Mental Health Association of
Pueblo and past chairperson of the Colorado Hospital Association
Mental Health Task Force. Ms. Fryman is a strong proponent of continuous
quality improvement and is certified in Statistical Process Control. |

Michael Allen,
MSW, LCSW, CAC III

Michael Allen, Clinical Director for Connect Care, LLC has been
working in the substance abuse field for over 10 years as a service
provider and administrator. Michael has a Master of Social Work
(MSW) degree and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified
Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor - Level III. Prior to coming
to Connect Care, Michael was the Child Welfare Services Director
for a managed service organization which managed the publicly
funded treatment dollars in 34 Colorado counties. Mr. Allen also
worked for several years as the Assistant Director of an adolescent
outpatient treatment program for the University of Colorado and
supervised both day treatment and outpatient levels of care.
Mr. Allen has presented in-services, workshops and trainings
on many topics including alcohol and marijuana prevention, inhalant
abuse, opioid dependence, Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST), methods
and uses of drug testing, confidentiality, and quality management.
He is certified as an expert witness in civil court in the areas
of substance abuse treatment and evaluation. Mr. Allen is active
on several state-wide and community boards including the Colorado
Steering Committee for the National Center for Substance Abuse
and Child Welfare.
